As a theater artist, the majority of my work is developmental. By this I mean, I tend to work on new material at the beginning of the collaborative process. Oftentimes, the work is tedious, plodding and fraught with emotion and ego. The artistic parameters are fluid and the rehearsal environment constantly evolves and transforms. In this protean environment, a producer plays the role of collaborator, arbitrator, task-master, work horse, therapistÑto name a few. The best producers I have worked with have been successful in finding the balance and in creating the space for people to do their best work. With Alicia Arinella you get balance, vision and heartÑshe is an asset to any team and a blessing to any process.
